PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably attract a transfer paper by reducing its moisture content and increasing the resistance value, even if environmental conditions of temperature and humidity and the state of the transfer paper are changed. SOLUTION: This image forming device is provided with precurling rollers 10 having a heater lamp 10c in an upper roller 10a, as a moisture content reducing means for reducing the moisture content, to stably attract the transfer paper P, regardless of the environmental conditions such as the temp. and humidity and the state of the transfer paper P. Then, this transfer paper P is heated by the precurling rollers 10, to reduce the moisture content of the transfer paper P and make the resistance value of the transfer paper P high and the movement, of an electric charge inside the transfer paper P is prevented to easily electrify it.
