PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a defect correcting method and a defect correcting device for color filter for forming a colored layer of specified chromaticity at a defect part. SOLUTION: A pixel part 3 including a defect part 5 of color filter 1 is irradiated with laser light 6 formed into the same shape as the pixel part 3 first to form a removal part 7 where the colored layer 3a including the defect part 6 is removed. Then, a photosensitive colored layer 8 having the same hue with the colored layer 3a is provided at the removal part 7 and its peripheral part and then the removal part 7 is irradiated with ultraviolet rays 9 formed into the same shape as the pixel part 3 from the top surface side of the color filter 1 to expose only the photosensitive colored layer 8 at the removal part 7. Consequently, the quantity of the ultraviolet rays 9 can be made large enough to completely cross-link the coloring agent that the photosensitive coloring agent 8 contains, so the corrected pixel 10 has specified chromaticity. |
