COLOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTER PROVIDED WITH MANY LINEAR ARRAYS FOR SURFACE IRRADIATION LASER HAVING IDENTICAL WAVELENGTH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a single monolithic light source for a color electrophotographic printer equipped with a simple and inexpensive optical system. SOLUTION: This color printer 100 uses many linear arrays of identical- wavelength surface irradiation laser in order to simultaneously expose widely distant positions on an identical or different photoreceptors 140-146. The images of the respective arrays are formed on the photoreceptors 140-146 by an identical telecentric spherical surface lens group 134, an aperture 136 and a telecentric spherical surface lens group 138. Then, linear beams are arranged around the aperture by angularly giving an interval. Many linear arrays are a monothlic structure body 102 and they can be closely arranged.
