PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the performance characteristics of a tire by a method wherein a composite strip including an inner liner and a pair of side wall parts, is built up, and a body ply which pinches a reinforcing cord being arranged into a contour shape between two elastic material strips, is made to come into contact with a composite ply. SOLUTION: This strip 1 is equipped with a body ply 2 consisting of a sheet of an elastic material wherein a plurality of reinforcing cords 5, of which the contours are determined, and for which intervals are individually placed, are put inbetween, or a pair of layers 3. The carcass strip 1 is also equipped with a pair of abrasion rubber strip parts 7, and a pair of side wall parts 8 for which an interval is placed. A second strip 10 made of an elastic material extends between the abrasion rubber strip parts 7 to form an inner liner of the tire carcass strip. All of the elastic strip 10, the abrasion rubber strip parts 7 and the first side wall parts 8 are applied to a first flat side of the body ply 2. |
