PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the utilizing efficiency of data and to make the video camera small sized by allowing a recording/reproducing means to record data processed by a circuit section onto a disk and to reproduce the recorded data by a disk drive. SOLUTION: A digital video and audio digital signal generated by a camera section 20 and a circuit section is converted into a strong light beam with an optical pickup assembly 46. The light beam is projected onto a recording side of a disk 2 loaded and driven by a turntable 40 on a deck 40. Then data are recorded on a disk recording side. In this case, a magnetic head 60 is in contact on the recording side of the disk to apply a magnetic field to the disk. The recorded data are reproduced by projecting and reflecting a weak light beam generated from the optical pickup assembly 46 onto the recording side of the disk 2. In this case, the magnetic head 60 is separated from the disk. The data stored on the disk are used properly by a computer.
