PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter with a valve for connecting a fluid handling device to a medical device. SOLUTION: This adapter 10 with a valve for a medical access device has a main body 16 with a longitudinal axial line which in turn, has a female lure joint 22 on the base end, a tip and a through passageway 28. The passageway has a chamber between the tip and the base end and the chamber incorporates a valve 32 which is always closed but is operated upto an open position. The valve includes a comparatively slender elastic member 34 having an axial line substantially coaxial with the longitudinal axial lines of the base end and the adapter. In addition, the valve has a pusher 38 arranged on the base end of the slender elastic member. The pusher 38 has a nest part 40 having an extension position and a push position. The nest part 40 is pressed upto the extension position. |
