PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform communication without degrading transmission quality and to reduce the scale of a circuit and delay time, even if the burst generation of noise with high level exists. SOLUTION: In a data transmitter interleaving the signal of the error correction code inputted from an error correction encoder 11 and transmitting the signal, an interleaver 12 sets the depth of an interleave to the range of 250μsec or more and 8.2msec or below, according to the transmission rate of the signal, interleaves the input signal by this set interleave depth, further modulates the signal by a modulator 13 and transmits the signal to a CATV transmission line 20. In a reception part 18, the signal error due to the burst noise is dispersed at random by a deinterleaver 16. |
