PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the imperfect fitting of a lamp. SOLUTION: A housing recess 11 for housing the projecting part of a lamp base is formed in a body 10a constituting a socket main body. A rotation locking spring 30 is arranged so as to be capable of turning in the bottom of the housing recess 11. The rotation locking spring 30 has a pair of spring pieces 32 formed by bending at both ends of an almost round main body 31. An engaging projection 32a is projected on each outer side surface of the spring pieces 32. The engaging projection 32a engages with a recessed and projecting engaging part 17 formed in the inner wall 11a within the housing recess 11 by the rotation of the rotation locking spring 30. When the rotation locking spring 30 is rotated for fitting a lamp, and the engaging projection 32a engages with the recessed and projecting engaging part 17, collision sound is generated. By the collision sound, the correct, perfect fitting of the lamp to a lamp socket is informed to a user, and thereby, imperfect fitting can be prevented. |
