<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce NOx of exhaust gas. SOLUTION: A radiant tube burner 2 is adapted such that it comprises a radiant tube 6 to one end of which an exhaust gas supply pipe 8 is coupled and to the other end of which an exhaust gas exhaust pipe 24 is coupled, a combustion apparatus wherein a combustion air supply pipe 10 including therein a fuel supply pipe 16 and a primary combustion chamber 20 formed in the vicinity of the tip end of the fuel supply pipe 16 is adapted to face the exhaust gas supply pipe, and a heat exchanger 26 provided between the combustion air supply pipe and the exhaust gas exhaust pipe. In the radiant tube burner, a bypass pipe 40 is provided for communicating the exhaust gas exhaust pipe located upstream the heat exchanger and the exhaust gas supply pipe located downstream the heat exchanger. In the burner 2, negative pressure (suction pressure) is formed on the exhaust gas supply pipe with the aid of an injection flow of a fuel flame. Since the exhaust gas is sucked from the exhaust gas exhaust pipe 24 through the bypass pipe, NOx is reduced with a simplified construction but without the need of any special equipment such as an ejector.</p> |
