PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protective device for a catheter insertion section which is easily accessible for mounting and dismounting of a fluid treating device, enables a person engaged in medical treatment to inspect a pricking section and is capable of suppressing the growth of the microorganisms near the pricking section and preventing the catheter from being cut at the time of removing a tape. SOLUTION: The medical treatment device 10 for protecting the catheter insertion section of the patient's skin surface includes an elastic pad 16 having a surface 18 which comes into contact with the Patient, at least one cavities 20 for accepting and holding the catheter in the catheter insertion section. This device includes an adhesive for freely removably adhering the pad to the patient' s skin in the catheter insertion section on the surface of the pad on the side in contact with the patient's skin and includes a sufficient amt. of an anti- microorganism agent for forming the region to prohibit the growth of microorganisms near the catheter insertion section. |
