PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin bond magnet excellent in magnetic characteristics, by forming a resin bond magnet of high density and high orientation by a compression molding method. SOLUTION: Material powder composed of magnetic powder having magnetic anisotropy and thermosetting resin powder is buried in a metal mold capable of controlling heating and magnetic field, and a magnetic field is applied under heating. After compression molding is performed by pressurizing while magnetic power grains are oriented, the molded object is subjected to a hardening process. During the molding, gas may be deaerated ultrasonic vibration may be applied, and a pulse magnetic field may be controlled. Thereby a magnetically isotropic resin bond magnet having the maximum energy product (BH)max larger than or equal to 80% of the theoretical value of the maximum energy product (BH)max of a magnet composed of magnetic powder 100%. |
