PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide floor material having a new design effect by forming a frame pattern on a base using a synthetic-resin chip which consists of a center and a trimming part. SOLUTION: Differently colored synthetic-resin layers are stacked to prepare a synthetic-resin chip whose synthetic-resin layers have different softening temperatures. The synthetic-resin chip is thermally bonded to a base sheet 11 using a roll, a press, etc. The lower layer of the synthetic-resin chip is broadened toward the circumference of the upper layer, so that a frame pattern 41 is formed on the base sheet 11 using the synthetic-resin chip consisting of a center 45 and a trimming part 43. Thus the frame pattern that provides a different design effect from conventional through-chip and marble patterns can be provided. |
