PASSIVATION METHOD FOR ELECTROLUMINESCENT ORGANIC DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a passivation method for an electroluminescence organic device arranged on a supporting plate. SOLUTION: An individual pixel for forming an electroluminescence organic device array is overcoated or capped with the layer of stable metal 20. The layer of stable metal 20 is overcoated with buffets 22, 24 containing an organometal buffer layer 22 and a thermal factor matching layer 24 on the buffer layer 22. The thermal factor matching layer 24 is covered with a low permeability organic layer 26. The electroluminescence organic device is sealed with an epoxy resin sealant 28 or a polymer laminate aluminium foil.
