PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the use limit and control of an image forming device for each user or organization for instance simple and easy by obtaining an output possible state, only when a specific image stored in a storage means exists in read images. SOLUTION: When a key scan key on a control panel is depressed, an image reading means 2 starts to execute a reading operation and image information is transmitted to an image processing part 5, to be corrected in shading and then, to an image recognizing means 45. In an image deciding means 46, pattern matching processing with the specific image stored in the storage means 51 is executed. Consequently, when the image recognized by the image recognizing means 45 coincides with the specific image stored in the storage means 51, information on the usable function of the image forming device, stored according to the specific image is displayed on the touch panel of the control panel and other functions are inhibited. When the recognized image does not coincide with the specific image, the fact that the image forming device can not be used is displayed and the execution of all the functions is inhibited. |
