PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to eliminate, move and double mold the mixed state of a product while sensing the position and presence of the product by detecting the presence or absence of an insert during moving of the insert for a preform from a first station for molding to contain the insert to a second station for molding. SOLUTION: In a preform insert molding system 10, inserts are oriented in isolated multiple rows from feed screws 30a to 30d, and sent to an insert transferring and introducing mechanism 16. The mechanism 16 has a shuttle table 32 conforming to contain the preforms in an array from the first introducing station 34 and to move the inserts to the second introducing station 35. The insert detecting system is operated to decide the presence or absence of the insert on a mandrel on the way of directing toward the station 35. |
