PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily recognize a target point by providing a building shape map display control means which plats and displays a building shape map, and emphasizing and displaying a retrieved building or displaying information belonging to the building on the map by the building shape map display control means. SOLUTION: A central processor 200 reads data on a building shape map in a display range out of a map data storage device 100, and plats and displays the shapes and names of buildings as a building shape map by the names according to the kinds and heights of the buildings and other detailed information. When a building is selected on the displayed building shape map, information belonging to the building and periphery information are retrieved and outputted as a guidance, and a shape map including the building in the center is displayed with the information belonging to the building to the contrary. A shape display process part 200a plats and displays the shape maps of buildings. A name display process part 200b plats and displays the names of principal shape bodies on the shape map displayed by the shape display process part 200a. |
