In the method for controlling a restoration of a message transferor signalling network data in a common line signaling apparatus which includes a signaling message handling processor(11) for routing a traffic to a destination point the user desires and a signaling network restoring processor(29) for beginning and completing a restoration of the message transferor signaling data stored in a database(13), the restoration being performed at the signalling message handling processor(11) when a breakdown of the signaling message handling processor(11) is noted from an interior network managing block, the method comprises a first step of controlling a restoration of the message transferor intra-office signaling code when a restoration advice of the signaling message handling processor(11) is received; after that, a second step of controlling a restoration of the message transferor extra-office signaling code; a third step of controlling a restoration of a message transferor signaling link; and a fourth step of controlling a restoration of a message transferor signaling route set.
