PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb extrusion die achieving simultaneously the improvements of batch distribution characteristics, extrusion properties for better performance and resistance to wear of a die for making the life of the die longer. SOLUTION: A die is formed by bonding an independent discharge section formed as an array of pins 14a with an independent die main body 10 with an array of a feed passage 13, and a pin array is constituted of a plurality of pins 14a mounted on a pin supporting component 14 having the characteristics similar to those of the die main body 10 and extending outward, and the pin supporting component 14c is removed after the pins 14a are bonded with the die main body 10. The pins 14a can be manufactured by a fricton-resistant material, and can be provided with various sectional shapes suitable for molding the similarity of extrusion molding in addition to the formation of honeycomb cells of various different sectional shapes. |
