PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily judge whether a load circuit is disconnected, short-circuited or normal even when the output of high-frequency power source is changed. SOLUTION: A detection coil 10 is provided on the secondary side of output transformer 6 and a detected voltage V0 of this detection coil 10 is applied to the non-inverted input terminals of comparators 13 and 14. Upper and lower limit set voltages Va and Vb based on the output of variable resistor 8 to change resistance correspondingly to the output of high-frequency power source 5 are respectively applied to the inverted input terminals of comparators 13 and 14. When a biological tissue (load) is touched with a pair of electrodes 4a and 4a of bipolar tweezers 4, correspondingly to the output of high-frequency power source 5 and the state of load circuit, the detected voltage V0 of detection coil 10 is changed and the detected voltage V0 is compared with the set voltages Va and Vb respectively by the comparators 13 and 14 so that it can be judged whether the load circuit including the bipolar tweezers 4 is normal, short-circuited or disconnected. |
