<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean the inside of apparatus, such as air-conditioners and air cleaners. SOLUTION: This air cleaner has a casing 11 which is mounted attachably and detachably to the full-surface panel of an air conditioner 20 having the full-surface panel formed with a suction port 21 and a blow-off port 23. This casing 11 is internally provided with a first vent path 12 connecting the inside of a room and the suction port 21 and a second vent path 13 for connecting the blow-off port 23 and the inside of the room. A filter 14 and an ozone producer 15 are successively arranged in this first vent path 12. A ozone cracking device 16 is arranged is the second vent path 13. The ozone produced in the ozone producer 15 diffuses according to the flow of the air and cracks and sterilizes the odorous components and general bacterial deposited on the outside surface of a heat exchanger 22, an air blower 24 and the inside wall surface of the air conditioner 20. The ozone is sent from the blow-off port 23. The ozone is cracked by the ozone cracking device 16.</p> |
