<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the material of a carpet for connection and to reduce cost by mounting a floor carpet such that a projecting member interfered by the floor carpet can pass an opening and overlapping both cut ends of a cutout. SOLUTION: When a floor carpet 1 is formed, an expanding part 4 expanding in the vertical direction to the plane of the floor carpet 1 is made at the edge 1a of the floor carpet 1 and an opening 6 is formed at the expanding part 4 of the formed floor carpet to avoid a projecting member 11. A T-shaped cutout 7 for connecting the opening 6 to the edge of the floor carpet 1 is formed at the expanding part 4 and both cut ends 4a, 4b of the cutout 7 are overlapped and the floor carpet 1 is mounted to the floor 10 such that the projecting member 11 is inserted into the opening 6, whereby the mounting man-hour of the floor carpet 1 is reduced.</p> |
