PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the pixel density along the scanning line of an electrophotographic line printer equipped with the monolithic structure of the multiple linear array of a surface radiation laser. SOLUTION: In an electrophotographic line printer equipped with the structure of the multiple linear array 10 of a surface radiation laser 14, the pixel density along a photosensitive body containing M orientated linear arrays of the surface radiation lasers 14 having equal center-to-center intervals 16 in at least one multiple linear array 10 of the surface radiation laser 14 can be increased by providing a linear laser array staggered a single structure.
