PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To hold containers of various sizes and kinds fixedly and conveniently. SOLUTION: A container holder assembly includes a housing 10 forming a cylindrical recess on the whole, and the shelf surface 30 extended radially outward from the upper end 20 of the recess 26. A sector collar member 50 is povitally fixed to the housing 10 and pivotally moved from a first position oriented in the direction of going away from the shelf surface 30 to a second position at least partially overlapped with the shelf surface 30. When the collar member 50 is in the first position, the collar member 50 and the shelf surface 30 form an opening part, smaller than the upper end of the recess 26, between them. The collar member 50 has a tab 52 received into slots 44, 46 of an external wall extended over the open end of the recess 26.
