PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to easily detect the ink amount of an ink container by providing an indicating means for indicating the position of a receiving member by displacing in response to the weight of an ink cartridge. SOLUTION: A compression coiled spring 15 is interposed to support an ink cartridge 1 between a receiving member 13 and the bottom plate 14 of a case 12. The spring force of the spring 15 is disposed at the raised end position of the member 13 balanced with the total weight of the cartridge 1 and the member 13 in the state that no ink is stored at all in the ink container of the cartridge 1, but if slight ink is stored in the container, it is displaced to the lower position from the raised end position. Accordingly, the displacing amount of the spring 15 is measured to make it possible to easily detect the ink amount of the container. |
