PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively crush garbage and to make the removal of moisture or fermentation of garbage in a garbage treatment process efficient by providing a crusher with two sets of crushing blade units having a plurality of crushing blades arranged thereto in an axial direction and arranging the crushing blade units alternately in opposed relationship so that the crushing blades thereof are alternately overlapped with each other in the axial direction. SOLUTION: The rotation of a motor is transmitted to rotary shafts 4, 5 to rotate the rotary shafts 4, 5 at an equal speed in opposite directions. At this time, the respective edge parts (k) of the crushing blades 17, 18 of each set so as to be adjacent to each other to form a pair are overapped in the axial direction at the central part between the rotary shafts 4, 5 and the crushing blades 17, 18 are synchronously rotated so as to be further deeply overlapped with each other accompanied by rotation and, therefore, the garbage charged on guide plates 25, 26 is crushed into the definite shape corresponding to the thickness of the crushing blades to fall under a frame member 2 to be discharged. At this time, since the leading ends 19a, 20a of the comb blade parts of scrapers 19, 20 are arranged in close vicinity to the rotary shaft 4, 5, the garbage sticked to the peripheries of the rotary shafts 4, 5 is easily peeled off. |
