Date Mar. 30, 1995Aqueous dispersion of a fluorine-containing copolymer which is prepared by, in an aqueous dispersion containing fluorine-containing copolymer particles which comprise 70 to 95% by mole of vinylidene fluoride and 5 to 30% by mole of chlorotrifluoroethylene, seed-polymerizing 20 to 100 parts by weight of an acrylic acid ester and/or a methacrylic acid ester in the presence of 100 parts by weight of the fluorine-containing copolymer particles. The aqueous dispersion assures excellent film forming property, and can provide a highly glossy coating excellent in mechanical properties, transparency at clear coating and weatherability.
