<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of buckling on a metallic foil strip at the time of taking up the foil strip and also to suppress the variation of thickness and shape accompanying the buckling by controlling rolling conditions in the cold rolling method of the metallic foil strip. SOLUTION: With the increase of the diameter of a coil K which is taken up around a tension reel 5, rolling tension is reduced, rolling load is increased and bending force is increased on the increase side. In order to that, the diameter D of the coil is detected by a controller 6, the correction amountΔT of tension is calculated from the diameter D of the coil, the correction amountΔP of load is calculated from the correction amountΔT of tension and the correction amountΔB of bending force is calculated from the correction amountΔP of load.</p> |
