PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drip weatherstrip excellent in appearance quality and easy to manufacture. SOLUTION: A welt part 21 with a groove part 24 fitted to a drip channel 5, and a door side seal lip 22 brought into elastic contact with the inner side face of a door sash and a body side seal lip 23 brought into elastic contact with the side face of a body are integrally formed. Variable cross-sectional shape parts of the respective seal lips 22, 23 before vulcanization being gradually shortened are formed in an extruding process. In a following squashing process, the variable cross-sectional shape parts are partially pressed to squash the groove part 24 practically without clearance. After vulcanizing unvulcanized rubber in a vulcanizing process, the variable cross-sectional shape parts are cut to obtain a drip weatherstrip with the variable cross-sectional shape parts formed into an end part 25. |
