PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a clear image without an increase in thickness of an ink- receptive layer and prevent ink from offsetting by a method wherein a substratum of paper has a specified air-permeability and a specified Stoeckigt sizing degree. SOLUTION: A paper substratum to be used has a specified air-permeability of 100-500sec/100cc and a specified Stoeckigt sizing degree of 10-200sec, and both the air-permeability and Stoeckigt sizing degree are required to satisfy those specified values. However, the composition and manufacturing method of the paper substratum are not limited to specified ones. To control the air- permeability of the paper substratum to 100-500sec/100cc, an L-material is mainly used as pulp raw material. To control the Stoeckigt sizing degree to 10-200sec, it is recommended that a sort of additional sizing agent is selected and the sizing agent is used in excess a little. Thereby, an excellent, clear image having a good fixing property can be obtained without ink feathering. |
