<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ink composition used for printing soaps, not causing printing failures such as irregular ink film thickness, the defects of the printed ink film, the peeling of the printed ink film, etc., and safe for human bodies. SOLUTION: This ink composition for printing on the surfaces of soaps contains as essential components a nitrocellulose as a coating film-forming agent, a styrene-methylstyrene-indene copolymer or an alkyd resin as an adhesive agent, an organic or inorganic pigment or their mixture as a coloring agent, a citrate ester as a plasticizer and a polyoxyethylene polysiloxane copolymer as an auxiliary. The ink composition can reduce the occurrence frequency of printing failures such as the defects, peeling and irregular color of a printed ink film on the surface of a soap, thereby enabling to enhance the efficiency of the production. The ink composition is further extremely safe without giving disorders to the skin of a human body, and can freely impart many kinds of patterns, etc., to the surface of soap.</p> |
