PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrolytic device and an electrolytic method capable of stably generating carbon dioxide and oxygen in an aq. electrolytic bath without damaging a carbon electrode. SOLUTION: An electrolytic cell forming an aq. electrolytic bath, a cathode, an anode contg. carbon and a means for applying a voltage between both electrodes are provided, oxygen is generated from the anode, and gaseous carbon dioxide is generated from the carbon contained in the anode and the oxygen. This electrolytic device is used to utilize the electrolytic bath generating oxygen and carbon dioxide, and the anode contg. carbon consists of a composition of the carbonaceous matter and hardened material. |
