PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the growth characteristics of a bone by forming the boundary surfaces in contact with the bone of metallic moldings to provide a shallow relief structure, extending many shallow recessed parts down to the deep floors on the inner side thereof and covering the floors with bone growth accelerating agent coatings to provide protection by the shallow relief structure. SOLUTION: The region 28 provided with texture of this bone reinforcing implement has the recessed parts 30 existing lower than the surfaces (s) of the upper part. The respective recessed parts have the floors (f) and are isolated by the walls (w). The recessed parts 30 may be round crater-shaped holes, grooves like long trenches, or fine discrete one-dimensional patterns of an L shape, Z shape, W shape, etc., or two-dimensional arrangement of shapes, such as checker boards or hound's tooth patterns. The floors (f) in the bottoms of the respective recessed parts 30 are coated with the coatings (c) by the bone growth accelerators (c). Accelerators having the growth and affinity resembling those of the bones, such as hydroxy apatite, are used as the growth accelerators. The surfaces (s) of the upper parts are not provided with the coatings (c). |
