PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the speed of packing. SOLUTION: In the lateral-sealing region the traveling rate of a lateral-sealing mechanism 3 in the first half-region La for drawing is made greater than the feed rate of the packing material (f), whereas the traveling rate of the lateral- sealing mechanism 3 in the second half-region Lb for sealing is decreased below the feed rate of the packing material (f). As a result, the packing material (f) can be made to have a big loosening without changing the time for sending one bag's portion of the packing material (f) so that the filling speed for an object for the packing can be increased and the process of packing can be accelerated by shortening the time required for one cycle of packing in proportion to the increase in the speed of filling. |
