PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To extremely efficiently obtain the above compound useful as an intermediate for producing medicines, etc., in high selectivity and a yield by using perfluoroalkanesulfonylimidic acid as a catalyst. SOLUTION: (B) A compound of the formula H-R<1> R<1> is p-C4 H6 -OR<3> [R<3> is a lower alkyl or a (substituted)phenyl], etc.} is reacted with (C) an acid anhydride of the formula (R<2> CO)2 O [R<2> is same as R<3> ] in the presence of a perfluoroalkanesulfonyl imidic acid of the formula H-N(Tf<1> )Tf<2> [Tf<1> is SO2 Rf<1> ; Tf<2> is SO2 Rf<2> (Rf<1> and Rf<2> are each F atom or lower perfluoroalkyl)] to provide the objective compound represented by R<2> COR<1> . Moreover, the reaction is preferably carried out in a ratio of the component C of 1-2mol based on 1mol component B and in a ratio of the component A of 1-20mo1% based on the component B. |
