PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the touch of an engaging surface, an engaging rate and engaging force by making a large number of hair erecting elements composed of multifilament fiber groups standing up from a base material to mixedly exist in a surface fastener. SOLUTION: A surface of an engaging surface where female and male engaging elements 13 and 14 of a mixedly existent surface fastener 1 stand up, is put in a condition of being almost covered with constitutive fiber of hair erecting elements 16 composed of a large number of fiber groups by slightly projecting from the upper ends of the female and male engaging elements 13 and 14. Since the hair erecting elements 16 exist particularly in close vicinity to a hook-shaped male engaging element 14, the touch that an engaging surface of the mixedly existent surface fastener 1 approximates to an ordinary napping fabric can be obtained. The stiff touch and the pricking feel by a conventional male engaging element are remarkably removed. Since the hair erecting elements 16 are constituted by merely standing up a large number of fibers, resiliency applied when the male engaging element 14 is entered into an engaging surface of a mating surface fastener is small. It can easily enter a mating engaging surface, and an engaging rate increases, and engaging strength is enhanced. |
