PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a flexible polyurethane foam reduced in compression strain and improved in stability by using a specified polyoxyalkylene polyol mixture and a specified organic polyisocyanate composition. SOLUTION: This flexible polyurethane foam is produced by using an organic polyisocyanate composition which comprises a mixture of a 2,4- and 2,6-tolylene diisocyanates mixture (A) and a polymethylene polyphenyl isocyanate (B) containing less than 65wt.% diphenylmethane diisocyanate (binuclear component) of the formula, wherein (n)=0, and at least 31wt.% dimethylene triphenyl isocyanate (trinuclear component) of the formula, wherein (n)=1, at a weight ratio of component A to component B of (21 to 98):(79 to 2) and a polyoxyalkylene polyol which has a hydroxyl number of 10-35mgkOH/g and a maximum monool content of 15mol% and which comprises a propylene oxide adduct having a minimum head-to-tail bond selectivity of 96mol%. |
