PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition excellent in flexural strength and water resistance, and low in water absorption, by incorporating cement with a specified amount of a specific adhesive composition. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by incorporating 100 pts.wt. of cement (e.g. normal Portland cement) with 1-50 pts.wt. of an one-pack adhesive composition essentially comprising 100 pts.wt. of an epoxy resin (e.g. bisphenol A-type epoxy resin) as the chief agent and 1-100 pts.wt. of a latent curing agent. The latent curing agent is pref. a master batch-type curing agent (e.g. Novacure HX: manufactured by Asahi Chemical Co., Ltd.) comprising an epoxy resin and a curing agent composed of core, a powdery amine compound having in one molecule at least one tertiary amino group but free from either primary or secondary amino group and having at least on the surface bound groups absorbing infrared rays 1630-680cm<-1> in wave number and bound groups absorbing infrared rays 1680-1725cm<-1> in wave number and shell, the reaction product from the amine compound and an epoxy compound. |
