PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject fried rice easily producible at a low cost by compounding a fried rice with scrambled eggs having a specific oil and fat content, giving the taste, palatability and flavor similar to those of freshly fried rice simply by heating with a microwave oven and free from oiliness. SOLUTION: A fried rice composed of specific amounts of rice and ingredients is compounded with scrambled eggs having an oil and fat content of >=10%, preferably 10-40%. The amount of the scrambled eggs is preferably 5-15% based on the fried rice. A fried rice giving improved feeling of the fried rice to the palate can be produced by heating the fried rice with a microwave oven preferably in opened state without wrapping with a wrapping film, etc., to prevent the condensation of moisture generated from the rice, etc., in heating to the surface of the rice, etc. The scrambled eggs containing oil and fat can be produced e.g. by mixing raw egg with oil and fat and heating the mixture under stirring. |
