PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always guarantee the optimum supply of a fresh and cold lube oil even under various operating conditions and to secure uniform temp. distribution all over the supporting surface of a supporting element. SOLUTION: The outer casing 14 of a roll is supported with a stationary supporting body 12 via the supporting element 18 which can be fixed by pressure to the inner periphery 16 and is dynamically lubricated, and the fresh lubricating oil is supplied into the range between the supporting surface 20 and the inner periphery 16 via plural oil supplying places 22 provided on the supporting surface 20 of the supporting element 18. Further, this supply is at least partly performed regardless of a pressure chamber 19 loading the supporting element 18, the supporting surface 20 is provided with a row R1 consisting of many oil supplying places 22 which are separated from each other and at least partly oiled regardless of the pressure chamber 19, and oil supplying places 22 are provided with each one hole 26 having a throttling action. |
