PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To mold a seamless hollow resin ball simply by casting a thermosetting resin into a heated semi-spherically recessed mold on the vibrating plate of a vibrator and molding a hollow ball by vibrating the mold with heating. SOLUTION: When a thermosetting liquid silicone resin is cast into a semi- spherically recessed mold 9 which is heated in advance at 180 deg.C on the vibrating plate of a vibrator 7, and the mold is vibrated with heating by a heater 8, while the resin being vibrated in the vibration direction of an elevation angleθ=20 deg., a part along the inner surface of the mold starts to form a thin cured film by being heated by the heat of the mold 9. The resin protruding from the mold 9 is also converted into a cured film having R by being cooled by air, and the cured film is moved little by little by the vibration and grows rapidly in all directions finally to form a hollow ball composed of a thin resin layer. |
