PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize useful thermal energy so as to reduce output fluctuation during the demand change of an external heat consumer by properly using the amount of additional supply water when a demand for heating water is big or small. SOLUTION: A gas turbine group is composed of a compressor 5, a gas turbine 6, a burner 7 and a generator 8. For the operation of the gas turbo group, the amount of supply water increased by a maximum heating water amount necessary for external use is introduced to an exhaust heat recovery type steam generator 2. A heating water demand is detected and when the heating water demand is big or maximum, the additional amount of supply water is branched from a water/steam circulating path as heating water after heating. When the heating water demand is small or none exists, the additional amount of supply water is left in the water/steam circulating path and used for generating additional steam. The branched heating water is supplied for external use and the remaining heat of the heating water is used for heating a water supply tank 3. Thus, the thermal energy is effectively utilized and output fluctuation is reduced. |
