CONVERSION OF PATHOGENIC MICROORGANISM INTO NONPATHOGENIC ONE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the production of a nonpathogenic vaccine in the medicinal field and the production of an attenuated virus and a nonpathogenic antagonistic microorganism in the agricultural field in relation to the reduction and loss in the pathogenicity of the pathogenic microorganism. SOLUTION: (A) A host organism having a gene of a pathogenic microorganism or a part of the gene is infected with the pathogenic microorganism, which is then separated from the host organism hardly manifesting a lesion even after the infection to convert the pathogenic microorganism into a nonpathogenic one. (B) The host organism having the gene of the pathogenic microorganism or a part of the gene is infected with the pathogenic microorganism, which is further separated from the host organism hardly manifesting the lesion even after the infection to thereby afford the pathogenic microorganism converted into the nonpathogenic one.
