PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a diaphragm from slipping off in the process of pinching fast the diaphragm by installing a housing of split structure. SOLUTION: In this booster, a housing is composed of a front shell 1 and a rear shell 2 capable of being split in the axial direction of a power piston, and the periphery 5a of a front diaphragm 5 is pinched in the axial direction of the power piston by the split parts 1a, 2a, of the front and rear shell 1 and 2, wherein the front shell 1 is provided with parts 1b, 1c confronting the outside and inside surfaces of the front diaphragm periphery 5a. Projections 5aa, 5ab are furnished on the inside and outside surfaces of the periphery 5a. |
