PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment process for a thermoplastic resin film which can carry out continuously the heat treatment in the vicinity of a melting point of the film without any troubles. SOLUTION: A metal endless belt 14 coated with polyimide resin is used, and a thermoplastic film 17 is so preheated by a first roller 11 as to set the temperature T to Tg<T<m.p.-10 deg.C, and the film is pressurized by linear pressure of 9.8-980.0N/cm between the endless belt 14 and a fourth roll 15 and bonded with the endless belt 14, and then the thermoplastic film 7 is so heated by a second roller 12 as to set the temperature T to m.p.-20 deg.C<T<m.p. +20 deg.C. Tg represents the glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic film, and m.p. represents the melting point of the thermoplastic film. |
