PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a rough face synthetic resin sheet having a rough face which prevents the sheet from blocking by forming a fine recess as small as it does not damage the transparency of the synthetic resin sheet on a top face and/or a rear face of a transparent synthetic resin sheet. SOLUTION: A guide roll 2 for guiding a synthetic resin sheet 1 and four heating rolls 3 for removing a curl by rewinding the synthetic sheet 1 are arranged. At the downstream side of the heating rolls 3, an embossing roll 4 and a receiving roll 5 are arranged. The embossing roll 4 has a heater and has on its surface a mesh which forms a fine recess on the synthetic resin sheet 1. Thus, the synthetic resin sheet 1 which is wound in a rolled state is rewound so as to remove the curl. Thereafter, it is made to pass between the embossing roll 4 and the receiving roll 5, so that a fine recess 8 is formed on the synthetic resin sheet 1 in accordance with the mesh formed on the embossing roll 4 by heating the top face of the synthetic resin sheet 1. |
