PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject composition capable of reducing crop chemical injury and relevant cost, etc., by combined use of a methoxyacrylate compound with a dithiocarbamate-based compound each having agricultural/horticultural germicidal activity to effect reduction in use as compared to the case of each use singly. SOLUTION: This composition is a combination of a methoxyacrylate compound of the formula (R is methyl or methoxy), i.e., 2-[2-cyclopropyl(4- methylphenylimino)methylthiomethyl]phenyl-3-methoxyacrylate or 2-[2-cyclopropyl(4-methoxyphenylimino)methylthiomethyl]phenyl-3-methox yacrylate with a dithiocarbamate-based compound in the weight ratio of the latter to the former of 1-50 or so. The dithiocarbamate-based compound is esp. pref. manzeb, maneb, zineb or polycarbamate. This s composition is effective on wheat red rot, barley mildew, etc. |
