PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the surface hardness, curing rate and thixotropic properties by using an unsaturated alkyd resin and/or an unsaturated epoxy ester resin, a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate and silicon dioxide as the constituents. SOLUTION: An essential component comprising an unsaturated dibasic acid, used together with a saturated dibasic acid if necessary, and a glycol are subjected to condensation through dehydration by heating approximately at an equivalent ratio to give an unsaturated alkyd resin (A). The alkyd resin A, an unsaturated epoxy ester resin (B) obtained by reacting a polyepoxide and anα,β-unsaturated monobasic acid approximately at an equivalent ratio in the presence of a catalyst at 100-130 deg.C for 5-10hr, a polyfunctional (meth) acrylate (C) comprising, e.g. a compound of formula I (wherein n1 is 0 or 1 to 4; and at least three of X1 's are each (meth)acryloyloxy, and the remainder is hydroxyl), and silicon dioxide (D) treated with a silicon compound of formula II (wherein (n) is an integer) are mixed in such a manner that the weight ratio of component A and/or component B to component C is (10:90) to (90:10) and the amount of component D is 0.1-10% based on component C.
