摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate phase control between works. SOLUTION: In welding a pair of works by friction pressure welding, a phase between the works is accurately determined. As the procedure, steps are provided such that softening is promoted for the joining part of the pair of works (step 1), that, upon obtaining a desired softened state, in order for the pair of works to stop at a desired phase angle, a deceleration curve U is calculated from the relative revolution speed (a) of the works (step 2), and that the relative revolution of the works is stopped along the deceleration curve U (step 3), and a step for adding a feed torque KP commensurate with an upset force. In addition, in comparison with the feed torqueβof the works in the step for promoting the softening of the joining part, the feed torqueδof the works is reduced in the step for stopping the relative revolution of the works along the deceleration curve. With this method, the need for deciding, the phase of the work by a mechanical lock mechanism is obviated.
