PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain the overcrowding of reinforcing bars with the more shearing reinforcement of reinforced concrete structures, make the reinforced structures lighter and consequently use them for a multistoried building by providing a high yielding point, yielding shelves and specified tensile strength and elongation. SOLUTION: A reinforcing bar rod steel comprises C: 0.2-0.5wt.%, Si: 0.15-1wt.%, Mn: 0.8-1.5wt.%, Cr: 0.1-1wt.%, S: 0.02-0.08wt.%, V: 0.01-0.3wt.%, N: 0.01-0.03wt.%, and Fe and inevitable impurities for the rest. It has a hypoeutectoid structure of ferrite and perlite with an average grain size of 20μm or less and a yielding point of 785N/mm<2> or more.
