PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to give maintenance flow to a printing head by cooperating to give cleaning fluid to the head for cleaning by the surface and an orifice. SOLUTION: A nozzle body 76, an orifice 78 and a dome structure 74 simultaneously function to generate water accurately controlled on the substantially flat surface 79 of a nozzle body 76. The water generated on the surface 79 is a non-turbulent fluid having a recess meniscus when a wet wiper nozzle 48 is fixed. When the nozzle 48 is moved over the surface of a printing head, the film of maintenance fluid 82 is positioned on the surface of the head. The film of the fluid is given by the moisture necessary for contaminant discovered on the surface of the head so that any contaminant is sufficiently raised from the surface of the head, and at least loosened. |
